Bo’s Coffee Opens In Bacolod

Finally, Bo's Coffee has opened a new store in the City of Smiles, Bacolod. This new place is located at the Central City Walk in Robinson's Place, Lacson Street, Mandalagan. The Negrense Blogging Society, Inc. (aka Negros Bloggers) was invited to attend it's blessing yesterday, June 1, 2012.

Bo’s Coffee started with a dream. The owner, Mr. Steve Benitez (whom we met), thought of having a premier specialty coffee bar in the Philippines that roasts high-quality Philippine origin coffee beans. From it's humble beginnings of 6-table kiosks in malls, the company has grown to 57 existing stores around the country. The Bacolod store has a cozy ambience with a great view of the surroundings. It can seat thirty-two people and is perfect for small group meetings and meet-ups with loved ones and friends.  Of course, it serves the well-loved and classic Froccino, Hot and Iced Espresso coffee selections, and more world-class beverages. Coffee shop connoisseurs and lovers can also enjoy delectable pastries, a variety of filling sandwiches, and sumptuous cakes. I specially liked the Food for the Gods and Cookie for the Gods, and then there's their Biscotti with dark chocolate, all so yummy!  According to management, the store will be opened during mall hours with the option to extend late at night. They also offer free WIFI. With Bacolod's active nightlife and many BPO's around, I'm sure there are many people who would want to see the place open till the wee hours of the morning.

Here are some of the goodies served.

Thank you Bo's Coffee (c/o Mr. JJ Roces for the invite and Ms. Janess Vernaiz for the press release copy) for having us there during your opening. Members present were H. James Toga, Audrey Mecabalo, Maricar Dabao and myself :)

Photo below is my sugar overload for the day :)

This is James' drink of choice (Green tea Freeze) with the Biscotti give-away.

By noon, regular customers started coming in and it was time for us say our goodbyes.  We definitely will be making this place a regular venue for our meetings and there is no doubt in my coffee addicted mind that Bo's Coffee will be a preferred watering hole for coffee drinkers, dessert lovers and  night owls of the city.
