An Evening With Greenwich And John Lloyd Cruz

I am not a fan girl but when Greenwich invited the Negros Bloggers to a meet and greet with John Lloyd Cruz last October 18,  I decided to go.  The invitation was for 7 PM, but I was there early because I had everybody's VIP passes with me and so that we can get good seats, but to my chagrin the cordoned off fountain area was almost full.  It's a good thing that Ms. Charo, Marketing Head for Greenwich Vis-Min area was there and she brought me to our reserved seats.

The program started with some Barkada games and then, the parade of masks.  The masks were entries for the Greenwich Masskara Mask-making Contest and one of the judges was the super-talented Mr. Jojo Vito of Vito Masks and Design Gallery, and also an active member of  Negrense Blogging Society, Inc.   Right after the mask presentations, came the much awaited arrival of John Lloyd Cruz!

John Lloyd introduces Greenwich's newest product, the Pizza Thin's, super thin, crispier and tastier crust with 3 cheese and premium toppings.  My favorite right now is the 7-Cheese shown below,

Of course, the evening would not be complete without a picture with John Lloyd Cruz.  In person, this guy is really cute with boy-next-door looks, and very charismatic. I found myself lining up with the rest of the guests for the photo-op.  He greeted us like we were old friends and it is this natural charm that makes him so appealing.  Now, I no longer wonder what Ruffa Gutierrez, Shaina Magdayao, and Angelica Panganiban saw in him ;-)   He's the type of guy that every mom would wish her daughter would bring home.

The event ended a little past 8 PM and we were treated to a Greenwich dinner of pizza and chicken. While waiting, a little commotion (and lots of screaming) happened at the counter.  It was John Lloyd working the crowd...this guy really knows how to woo people.

Greenwich and John Lloyd Cruz...a perfect match!
