In this day and age, malls are the to go to places of the young and old alike. I guess for many, one simple way of experiencing "the good life" is by going to the malls. While most people like the big malls, I on the other hand, love the ambiance and accessibility of small malls. In Metro Manila, my most liked places to go to are Greenbelt, Rockwell, Podium and Shangri-La Plaza.  I dislike big crowds and try to avoid it as much as I could, maybe because I got lost in it twice when I was a kid.

From an epicurean point of view, Christmas is a season of indulgence especially in eating and drinking.  It is during this time of year that all kinds of appealing, mouth-watering, delectable, savory, delicious, inviting, tantalizing, luscious, tasty, enticing, yummy food can be seen and eaten. Of course, with all these temptations to the palate, people can get all kinds of stomach trouble, most common of which are dyspepsia, commonly called heartburn or acid reflux.  This is why it is important to watch what we eat and not overindulge.  Still, there are many ways to eat, drink and be merry this Christmas without getting indigestion from all that rich food.

"A dream is a wish your heart make" Christmas 2014 About the same time last year, a fledging Negrense Blogging Society, Inc better known as the Negros Bloggers celebrated Christmas with a simple dinner and a fun Karaoke Night afterwards. Before going home, we had our group picture taken with the L'Fisher Hotel Bacolod as backdrop. Someone laughingly wished out loud for our next Christmas party to be held there. We all agreed to keep our fingers crossed, after all wishes can come true!

I have 4 Globe postpaid accounts distributed among my family members. My son has a Globe prepaid number. I have always been a loyal Globe user, even if I did try other telcos. The reason for this is not just for convenience but more so their reliability and innovation as compared to others. Last Masskara Festival, Globe introduced HOOQ , one of their newer services, to the Negros Bloggers in a fun-filled evening where we had to answer questions on movies and television teleseryes. We won some, we lost more...which brings me to the idea that I have to watch more Filipino movies. And to do this, I needed to get HOOQd !

On my son's (aka Big Brother) 25th birthday... He ate like a Viking! A few days before that, I was lucky to be invited together with some blogger friends on the second opening day of Vikings SM City Bacolod and simply put...it did not disappoint. The buffet spread is a gastronomic delight, worth every penny and more!   I thought to myself, my son would love it here!  There was something for everybody, young and old and so, I immediately made reservations for our family to celebrate his 25th birthday here.
