Amanpulo: A Vacation To Remember - Day 1
We landed in Amanpulo at approximately 12:45 PM, May 9, 2011 and was warmly met by the resort's general managers, a husband and wife team, Nicholas and Christine Juett. There was a red carpet and leis placed on each guest, making me feel special the moment I got off the plane. Of course, I know that they do this for each arrival but still it was a nice touch. We were then shuttled to our individual golf carts (our mode of transportation for the duration of our stay) and our guide, Lyn took us for a short orientation tour around the main features of the private island resort before bringing us to our beach casita.
The last picture above is the view of the casita from the back...although it was just a few meters from the beach it was hidden by enough foliage, trees and bushes to allow you to keep your privacy. Your beach is basically your own because while I was there, I only saw a family of three from a far distance. It is so private that you can go skinny dipping and nobody would see you. The only other living creature within sight that we saw was our very own resident "bayawak".

Wow... Talagang Mag eenjoy ka kapag ganyan kaganda ang tutuluyan mo...:)ReplyDelete
Ganda ng Casita..
Everybody deserves a break after working and toiling so hard at work. And you're right.. appreciating these luxuries once in a while was also not the time to feel guilty about the homeless. You're right on that too. I'm sure you give back whenever you can. =)ReplyDelete
How much did you spend for that whole three-day trip? I heard this island is one of the most expensive we have. Good for you though.ReplyDelete

WOW! Isn't it that Amanpulo is highly expensive to stay at? If money won't be an issue, I'd definitely take my family there.ReplyDelete
My dream place. Yay. Sobrang inviting ang place. You're so lucky to experience their white beach. Hehehe.ReplyDelete
paradise... that's what Amanpulo is... how much does it cost you for the whole trip? Really interestedReplyDelete
it depends on how many you are...we were about 30+ in our group, breakfast was Filipino buffet and mid morning/mid afternoon snacks, lunch, dinner were set meals...the fine dining way. For our group, the cost was around P70,000 per head for 3 days and 2 nights inclusive of plane ticket to Amanpulo. If you have the budget, it is so worth it.Delete
So pretty! This is one of my dream destinations. I wish I could go there too and explore why this is a haven for the rich and the famous. Gotta save up now, i guess :)ReplyDelete
